_Synopsis

Let is be said : the life of Suzanne Noël (1878–1954) is worthy of a novel. A pioneer of aesthetic surgery and a feminist activist in the early 20th century, her journey offers a mirrored history of the birth of modern aesthetic surgery and the major feminist struggles of her time.

Through a docu-fiction blending animation and period archives, we discover the extraordinary life of Suzanne Noël, a brilliant and committed surgeon for whom aesthetic surgery and feminism pursued one and the same goal: enabling women to freely choose their own destiny.
