_EMPOWERING WOMEN, ONE LAUGH AT A TIME
AWARD
A TV series about female cartoonists who use their drawings to empower women and strive for gender equality.
In DRAW FOR CHANGE!, each episode initially portrays a female cartoonist somewhere in the world. Then, zooming in on one of her cartoons, she takes us on a journey through her country in search of people who experience that cartoon in reality. Thus the drawings come to life.
Using a mix of straightforward documentary and animation based on the style of the cartoonist in question, every episode will be directed by an established local female director.
