_Fragments of love and war

_Synopsis
Red Zone is an animated docudramedy that follows Iryna, a Ukrainian filmmaker and single mother, as she navigates everyday life in Kyiv under the shadow of war. Between air raid sirens, missed calls from the frontline, and her teenage son’s indifference, Iryna clings to fragments of poetry, memory, and humor. Blending personal narrative with surreal visuals and documentary interviews, the film captures a city balancing between absurd normalcy and looming catastrophe. At once intimate and universal, Red Zone is a deeply human portrait of resilience, motherhood, and the quiet rituals that tether us to life in times of chaos.
